Hess, House Transportation Committee to Hold Additional Public Hearing on Senate Bill 1

WHAT:          Rep. Dick Hess (R-Bedford/Fulton/Huntingdon) and the House Transportation Committee will hold an additional public hearing on Senate Bill 1, the transportation funding plan over a two-day period.

WHO:             Hess; members of the committee; representatives for these issues, turnpike borrowing under Act 44; Pennsylvania public transportation agencies; online messengers; highway and trucking industries; agricultural industries; dirt and gravel roads; car rental companies; ports; and bicycle and pedestrian groups. Pennsylvania Auditor General Eugene DePasquale and others will appear on Tuesday, June 18.

WHEN:          Monday, June 17, 10 a.m. and continuing Tuesday, June 18, 10 a.m.

WHERE:        Monday, June 17, Room 205, Ryan Office Building, Capitol Complex, Harrisburg. Tuesday, June 18, Room 140, Majority Caucus Room, Main Capitol, Harrisburg.
