HARRISBURG – In an effort to better inform gun owners who live in the 78th District regarding Pennsylvania’s firearm laws, state Rep. Jesse Topper (R-Bedford/Franklin/Fulton) will host a Concealed Carry Seminar at the American Legion Post 561,
411 N. 5th St. in McConnellsburg, at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 2.
“Gun owners will learn more about their rights during this seminar,” Topper said. “The speakers, which include a member of the law enforcement community, have a firm grasp of our laws and will do an excellent job explaining them.”
Fulton County District Attorney Travis Kendall will provide information about concealed carry laws. Fulton County Sheriff Keith Stains will discuss how to safely interact with law enforcement officers when carrying a firearm.
“I appreciate the time being taken by our law enforcement officials to help educate residents,” Topper said. “There are a lot of misconceptions about Pennsylvania’s concealed carry laws, and the purpose of this seminar is to present the facts to the people.”
Advanced registration is encouraged. Those with questions, or to register, should contact Topper’s office at (717) 485-4430, or go to
