More Than $150,000 Slated for Broad Top City Water Authority, Says Hess
Through a grant provided by the Commonwealth Financing Authority through the PA H20 Program, Rep. Dick Hess (R-Bedford/Fulton/Huntingdon) today announced that Broad Top City Water Authority in Broad Top Borough in Huntingdon County will be able to make improvements to its water system for the benefit of area residents.
“I am pleased that this project has been awarded funding so that the water system is brought up to date for local citizens,” Hess said. “This grant will enable the borough to upgrade its infrastructure to meet current and future demands.”
The borough will receive $151,250 from CFA as part of Act 63 of 2008, which created the PA H20 program. This program was created by voter referendum last year.
